MY BEST LEARNING EXPERIENCE!!

It is believed that all the lessons are boring! I definitely disagree. When I started the Lower lessons I believed that it would be a year full of difficult lessons and nothing interesting. On the contrary, one day my teacher Ms Chris Markoulaki told my classmate Fanouris and I that we will create a blog! I expected that we will use it only at our home but, to my surprise, that day we went to the new computer laboratory and we created the blog! I was really excited because I learnt a lot about computers and sites! I realised that an English site is one of the best ways to practice English and communicate with people all around the world. I hope that all lessons will be like this!!

  2. Maria,
You are doing a great job writing and learning English. Taking part in the student blogging challenge allows you to make friends with other students around the world. Remember to check out the activities above the avatar on my class blog.

  3. Hello guys!!

I totally agree with you. Blogging is an intriguing method to brush up on English language. The more you blog the faster you'll get used to absorbing it...:-)

  4. I am glad you all acknowledge the benefits of blogging and the extent it enhances English language learning.

Thank you for reminding us of the challenges to be completed, Miss W. As I have already explained on the students' page (markaki-students.blogspot.com), our students took the initiative to express their thoughts on topics discussed in class or issues of their own concern through blogging. They also left a variety of comments on each other's blogs, thus enabling deeper reflection and more intimate communication.

However, from this week onwards, they will also have to complete the tasks assigned to all participants in the blogging challenge.

We will not forget to check your page for the new challenge. Thank you again for motivating students to express themselves.

    Christina Markoulaki,
    teacher of the class

  5. Maria,
I want to compliment you on your English skills. The more you practice the better you will become, and that is true with anything. My students are loving the blogging challenge but they only know a bit of Spanish and would not be able to participate in another language too well. I will try to direct them to more students who are demonstrating their mastery of another language. It may be a good incentive for them. I wish you well in the rest of your school year.
